My Philosophy and Bio

I am dedicated to developing long lasting relationships with all of my clients.  As a Certified Wealth Strategist, I believe in helping my clients develop a comprehensive holistic plan that incorporates their entire financial picture with their thoughts about the future and their feelings about risk to help achieve those goals. Given the changes I have seen in my industry over the past 19 years, I am committed to constantly developing a more rigorous and disciplined process in order to provide my clients with a more comprehensive level of service.

I have been an investment advisor representative working with individuals, foundations and small businesses since 1998.  During that time frame we have seen a tremendous amount of volatility in the equities markets.  By developing and implementing a financial plan that was structured to achieve specific goals over the short, intermediate and long-terms, I have helped many of my clients stay true to the course necessary to achieve their financial goals in spite of the volatility of the stock markets.

Prior to joining NBC Securities in 2016, I was an advisor with Umpqua Investments (2009-2016), and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (2001-2009) in Santa Rosa. I started my career in 1998 as a financial advisor at Paine Webber Inc., which was later acquired by UBS Financial Services.

I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Playing football at U.C. Berkeley taught me that hard work and dedication can help you achieve any goal as long as you stay committed. I hold FINRA licenses 7, 63, and 65 as well as my life insurance license (C.A. Lic. #0C57758).

I have always believed that those of us who are successful have an obligation to give back to the community that has helped us achieve that success.  As part of my commitment to give back, I volunteer quite a bit of my time to several non-profit organizations. I served as National President of the service club Active 20-30 U.S. & Canada and I went on to become the International President of Active 20-30 International as well. I was deeply involved in the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa for over 18 years until I finally aged out of that organization. I have also sat on the Board of Directors for the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce for the last 4 years and I am currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Children's Museum of Sonoma County.  I was awarded the Presidents Volunteer Service Award in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 for my volunteer efforts and typically volunteer 10+ hours of my time each week.

When I am not in the office or out doing volunteer work, I can be found hiking one of the many amazing trails we have here in Sonoma County with my dogs Harvey and Bella.
